Turtle

Hi everyone glad to see you here. Today I wanted to post about this little Turtle. This particular one was the first one I made. A lady bought his twin brother who was also the same color. I used a Red Heart Super Saver yarn on him unfortunately I don't remember the names of the yarns I used. This pattern was quite easy to make up and quite fast as well. I will post the pattern at the end of this post. The feet are a little tricky to sew because they are so close together. This turtle even has a cute little tail. I hope you enjoyed this cute little turtle.

Baby Bibs

Hi everyone glad you could stop by today.
Today I wanted to tell you about a baby bib I did for my sisters baby shower. I used Caron Simply Soft in the color Gray. I will provide the link to this pattern at the end of this post.
I had fun with this pattern it was easy (I did it in a couple of hours) and quick and importantly, cute. The pattern tells you to do picots around the edge which I did not do. It used a button to close the back and the pattern is made for the button but I used Velcro and changed the pattern at the end just a bit to accommodate the Velcro.
Mikey from The crochet crowd does a great video of this pattern if you don't know how to read patterns. I will put the link to the video as well at the end of this post.
I wanted to make a baby bib for my sisters baby and looked at many kinds of bibs. There were colorful ones square ones circular ones, ones with ruffles and some with none. I wanted something simple and cute and found this pattern by Mikey from The Crochet Crowd and thought this would be perfect. I wanted a solid color and because my sister is having a boy I decided to go with gray the best of both colored worlds (chuckles). Come back tomorrow to see what I have to show you.
Thank you for stopping by and have a critter happy day.

Baby Home Coming Outfit

Hi everyone I thought I would post a baby sweater and scratch mittens I made for my sister a couple of days ago to bring her new baby home in who is due any time now. This is not the first baby thing I have made before but it is the first baby sweater I have made. I will post the link at the end of this post as well as the pattern for the scratch mittens. This pattern was quite easy I did have a few mishaps with the collar and a few other elements of the pattern because they were a little unclear. I did enjoy this pattern because it made up quite quickly. It only took me 2 days to make and it came out quite lovely. I loved doing the scratch mittens they made up quickly and they were so easy and so cute.
